About The Art

All artwork is drawn by me, Raederle. However, you may notice that character's drawings do not always look like the same person. There are two reasons for this:
1. I can't draw the same thing over and over, at least, not very well.
2. You are given the freedom to imagine the characters in different ways.

For example, we know that Raina is Jamaican, and that she has long dreads, dark brown eyes, high cheek bones, big lips, and is 5'5. But within that, we can imagine many different noses, slightly different skin tones, how thick the dreads are, the shape of the lips, how pronounced the chin is, how long the neck is, etc. When it actually comes to picture-perfect imagination, you have a lot of freedom, and I think the variations in my artworks shows that pretty well.

All artworks of any character look like the character could look in your imagination.

About The Story

The main characters start out with Raina, Nuria, Layla and Yamato. Yamato takes the three Amazon descendants under his wing as students and takes them to his sister's (Hakura) mansion: Myoshi Manor. There, a few more characters come into play: Hakura, and her children, such as Jasmine and Miia, as well as Yamato's brother Mykito and his children, Kikeo, Falara and Jin. But after that portion of the tale, you see the true five main characters come out. Jasmine, Raina, Layla, Nuria and Travanni. (Travanni is Raina's twelve year old sister.)

It's a story about growing up, adjusting to new situations, discovering yourself, dealing with teen situations, and even alternate dimension theories when it gets about half way through the first book.

The story takes place in many parts of the world, including in the ancient past of the Amazons. Raina, born in Jamaica sets the story off there. And Layla comes from Buffalo, and Nuria from Chicago where they meet at Hukura's mansion in California. Their journey eventually takes them to the Pyramids and many other incredible places, but hold on to your horses, there is much to happen before they get there. Keep reading, keep writing, and maybe I'll write faster.

Disclaimer

Many of the things in my story resemble things from my own life, and books and movies I've read and seen. This is of course to be expected, a writer can only write based on what they know. Any character names, or tendencies that match up with people in real life are unintentional. The story is mine, and mine only. I did want to write it with Travanti, (my boyfriend) who I get much inspiration from, but he is not much of a writer.
Stealing of my plot, story, artwork, code, pictures or anything else that could be considered "content" is all forbidden. This story is very close to my soul, and I would hate to have to fight someone in court for it. Heh, if you ever really wanted to know me, look deeply into this novel. It means more than it seems.
